A hug generally given whilst walking. Generally sideways so that both people can walk in the same direction.

Lucy was walking to the carpark,

Laura: 'lucy i havent seen you all day, have a walking hug'

they hug whilst walking towards the carpark to save time and not hold up the rest of the people behind them.

Courtesy Hug

When you're in a group of people, for example three persons and there's two of them you know well. The third one you haven't really been talking to but when you have to go, you hug that person too so it won't get awkward.

Yesterday I was talking to Matt and Emma, Lisa was there too. I had to leave, and hugged them, I gave Lisa a courtesy hug.
