Get the hellamug. A word that originated in the 1980's in the Central Valley of Northern California (Stockton, Tracy, Manteca, Lathrop) area. Was NOT originally a Bay Area word. In fact when I went to college at Berkeley in the 1990's, we knew who was from the Central Valley by use of the word "hella." Recently, however, the word Hella has migrated to the rest of the Bay Area.
