1. A quality of being discriminatory against or hateful toward any particular ethnic group, race or nationality.

2. An individual who may harbour a hatred towards one or more ethnic groups or races, simply believes that some ethnic groups are above others, or has a fondness of negative stereotypes and speaks of them as objectively true. The last definition is difficult, some people who aren't racist will make jokes about negative stereotypes because they are funny.
