A procedure in which people imitate a guitar - playing situation (with no actual guitar) to a popular song which makes them look retarded beyond all recognition. usually most common with guys who are into metal/rock music and have no friends.

Just like shooting the shit or shooting the breeze. Hanging out with the boys, talking about life, drinking some beers. Doing nothing.

air wash

The act of airing out your day-old clothes when you don't have a change of clothes handy. Often occurs after getting drunk at happy hour and crashing at someone else's pad on a work night. Can also occur due to poor laundry supply management skills (i.e. running out of clean clothes because you're too lazy to do a wash). Especially applies to underwear. Not nearly as effective as water, but yet gives a hint of cleanliness, albeit only for a few seconds.

Jimmy and I got so shitfaced at happy hour last night that I had to crash at his place around the corner. I didn't have time to drive home, so I had to do an air wash this morning.

Air Bullet

Often used in the gambling subculture. To make a bet or wager on a game and/or proposition bet on one's normally good credit or with the intention of "settling up" at the conclusion of the game or wager only to claim that you don't have the wagered money on your person. Also known as "throwing an air bullet."

"I'll bet you a hundred bucks you can't make that in to the trash can from here....no air bullets."

"I beat Jeff in heads-up freezeout but when I asked for the scratch he threw me an air bullet."

A cat that tolerates being picked up; usually also likes to get in high places, like book shelves, on top of kitchen cabinets, or in trees.

Jack thought Missy was an air cat until he tried to pick her up, and got his arm shredded for his trouble.
