Culture eater

As opposed to social eater or hunger eater, a person who enjoys more of the cultural elements of a type of food, cuisine, or dining place, eating habit etc etc. A culture eater is usually a savvy vicarious learner, who emulates an observed bahior of eating, by doing which he derives pleasure and satisfaction from the very act of eating in this particular way, instead of from the food itself. The culture eater takes the eating experience to a new level.
A culture eater watched a Bear Gryll wild survival documentary, and he rushed to his backyard tries to dig out bug larva.

A guy dresses up like a 19th century English gentleman and perambulate into a traditional posh restaurant, and dines like a 19th cent gentleman, although the food hardly filled him up nor he liked any of the food in particular.

A guy travels to Vietnam and eats insects on a stick for a week, even though he knows he will be malnutritioned or even sick.

Karen Work Culture

noun: A workplace environment characterized by behaviors and attitudes similar to those stereotypically attributed to a 'Karen.' This culture includes employees' strong sense of entitlement, a tendency to escalate minor issues to higher management, and frequent involvement in HR complaints over trivial matters.

Karen's Work Culture is marked by a collective adherence to specific social norms, prioritizing personal inconvenience over team collaboration and productivity, often resulting in a toxic work environment filled with unnecessary disputes and micromanagement.
"The Karen Work Culture at the office has made it difficult for anyone to introduce new ideas without facing immediate resistance and a barrage of complaints to HR."

I got a micro-cultural exposure when I went to heat up my mac'n cheese. There was so much spice in the air, I felt like I was in a Turkish market.

The Culture Game

A game of social acceptance amongst piers, primarily played by middle aged mothers. The game involves; Performing activities simply to brag about them to other mothers, trying to create a false image of a perfect family to the outside world and pretending to care about certain socially acceptable things.

An example of a mother playing "The Culture Game" is when she drags her family to a museum, that she has no interest in, only to brag about it to her friends and tell them how "insightful" and "refreshing" it was. Another example is when a mother forces her children to attend a gathering even if the children have no connection to the people who will be at the gathering, simply to uphold the image of the perfect family.

The Culture Game comes from a place of longing for social acceptance and fear of rejection. The middle aged mothers are scared of being honest and truthful with their piers, scared to admit fault, disinterest and show weakness, which results in them dragging their families through the mud to keep up the facade.
"I can't believe that mom is playing The Culture Game with aunt Karen again"
"Yeah, she doesn't even like wine, but I guess her pride is more important than her taste.."

Cultural Segregation

Cultural segregation is the opposite end of the spectrum from cultural appropriation. It is the end goal of people who believe that cultures should stay pure and not mix, and can be considered a form of racism. The phrase "cultural appropriation" is sometimes used disingenuously with the end goal of discouraging culture mixing.
Someone said I was "appropriating Cuban culture" by using that rhythm in a song, but remixing culture is what keeps things interesting. Could you imagine how boring a world of cultural segregation would be, with nobody sharing ideas?
