adj.
That eerie feeling when someone’s politeness is so unnervingly perfect and mechanical, it sets off your internal alarms. It’s the kind of fake niceness that feels like a mask hiding something darker—too smooth, too rehearsed, like a polite robot lurking just beneath the surface. When someone’s uncanny polite, you don’t just feel uneasy—you instinctively brace for manipulation or hidden intentions.

“I don’t trust her—she’s always so uncanny polite, like she’s planning something behind that smile. It feels like a trap somehow.”

Get the Uncanny Politemug. When the division and "hate" between two political figures, parties, countries, etc. is predominantly fabricated, and both parties/figures are on much better terms with each other than what they portray, all to benefit their own personal interests.
"Dude, did you see the picture of the Clinton's with Trump at his wedding? I thought they hated each other!"
"Bro, their hatred for each other is just some watering hole politic."
Water(ing) hole politics came to me in a fever dream. Derives from how animals were thought to put aside their prey/predator interactions when at a watering hole. This turned out to be a myth, just like how even the friendly banter of two political opponents which supposedly hate each other behind the scenes is likely fake too, as both candidates are acting nice to each other behind curtains for their own personal gain, and likely don't even like each other.

Get the Politicsmug. When someone responds to an article/headline/meme and gives a knee jerk response based on what they think their political tribe wants to hear.
Last week Karen said Trump should get impeached because he incited violence, but if you look at her tweets, she said violence during BLM is justified. She's playing political hopscotch.
