Get the emomug. A subculture which started out as a music genre with influences from the punk/alternative scene of Washington D.C. in the late 1980s. In recent years, it has expanded to become an entire subculture. Originally, followers of the emo subculture were kids who didn't fit into the mainstream and considered themselves to be non-conformists. Sadly, however, the emo label has become so popular that nowadays most emos are kids who grew up living life exactly the same as every other fucking kid, and now they have decided to go emo, simply because it is what every other kid is doing. However, some emo kids are those who turned emo before it became the mainstream, and these are the true non-conformists.

Yet i have many emo Cds that have only 1 relationship song. Emo means emotive hardcore, not emotional. Its a genre of music, not a style. When kids call themselves emo. yes it is fake, and they are following a trend. But the music itself can also by called Post-hardcore. Emo music is ebout emotion

Get the emomug. People who cry and cut themselves alot. Gay little boys with girl pants and tight shirts. Basically people who are extremely over-emotional and usually very immature. They listen to Hawthorne Heights and My Chemical Romance. All in all, they are stupid people.

Get the EMOmug. Someone who dresses a certain way (you know the emo look) to maintain a stereotype. People SHOULD be able to wear skinny legs and loads of eyeliner etc. without it being emo or posery, but now they cant because no one cant tell the difference between people who like tight jeans etc. and someone who wears them soley for a look. My advice, sacrifice wearing tight jeans etc., they dont look good anyway. If possible try to create your own look, or not even a look, just be a person with clothes on, FUCK what people think. "Fuck what people think? Your saying to not wear certain things so people wont have an opinion. Thats what YOU think. Are you not a person?" I hear you say? Well if you dont care what people think you wont TRY to wear emo things and believe your unique. Having THAT hairstyle and being 'emotional' doesnt make you unique people. If you are trying to do that you are only getting sucked into this whirlpool of bullshit
