Goth

Most people think that they know what a goth is, but really they do not. People usually think that goths are depressed and suicidal, always wear black, have no friends, and are always gay/bi. This is not the case at all. Most goths are not depressed and suicidal; most people you see like this are posers. Note that I say most, not all. Some goths are like this, but not the majority like people think. Also, although most goths do usually wear black, some do not even like the colour and prefer brighter colours. Goths do not have no friends, they just have enough sense to realize that popularity is not the most important thing in life. Furthermore, goths are not always gay/bi. The reason for this rumour is probably because goths are much more open-minded than many other people, and they usually regard both sexes as equal. Most of the “goths” people see are actually posers. Also, most people don’t know what goth music actually is. Slipknot, Korn and other bands posers listen to are not goth. Neither is Marilyn Manson. Some examples of actual goth bands are Bauhaus and Switchblade Symphony. So if a goth isn’t all these things, what are goths? Well goths are open-minded people, often with a dark appeal. There are many different types of goth, and all have their own individual style. Goths are also very creative and often become writers, poets or artists.

Goths are not the posers you see outside Hot Topic, they are open-minded, creative people who make great friends.

Goth is usualy Just a Darker Form of Punk, it is a comomon Misconception that All "Goths" are Devil Worshiping Seuacidals, however the Opposit is More Common, a Goth is Likely to be A Well Educated Christian/Catholc.
Furthermore, You are not a Goth if you Simply Dress in Black, That is Just Trendy and Un-imagnative, a Goth is Meerly a Person Who Chooses to Dress Diffrently as they are Intelagent enough to Realise that our Cloths do not Matter, they Do Not Dress to Fit in as some Bistanders may Think, they are Making a Statment, we are what we are.

Goth

1.a person who dressed in black,will go creeping when the normal folk are sleeping, hates life, wears boots (never sandals!) who lights the room with candles, who pretends to be a vampire(like in stories round the campfire)(they'll suck your "bloody froth"), they have caskets, worship peter murphey and are best at imitating lestat and listen to the cure
2. a crazy person who drinks peoples blood (also known as a vampire)

Goth

Not necessarily people who are Satanic, or evil. But we like to play up that image. Because it scares you. And that's funny.

There are sub-divisions of the Goth style, and they're as varied as... A very varied thing. My own involves wearing bits of chainmail, gauntlets, and occassionally a helmet, and moshing my face off to the likes of Tyr, Amon Amarth and Turisas... Whereas my friend wanders around with a respirator on, a massive pair of black trousers with bright piping, and goggles...

In my opinion, skulls are the name of the game... But that opinion changes from goth to goth.

Plus we have the hottest girls.

I know... Hold my helmet. Gunna give her some of the Battelgoth charm.

candy goth

mkay. usually, candygoths are girls. may or may not wear black/dress in a gothic manner, but it is more than likely that they are very hyper, perky, and happy most of the time. they listen to what is labeled as gothic music, but they may also listen to a variety of other things. more than likely, classic rock, ska, punk, heavy metal, new age metal, or anything of the sort.

someone whom you may know that likes cradle of filth and the beatles but doesn't wear black/dresses in a gothic manner and acts happy but is sadistic at the same time is a candygoth.

Gothic Emo

Wears black red, small bits of white and purple.
Some wear make-up. Some are self-harmers. People dodn't really understand them, which causes the real ones to become more isolated and emo.
Listens to music like Billy Talent, Nightwish or Green Day.
Can be found in High Schools, Shopping centres or downtown type areas.
Despite the rumors they aren't Satanists but many are a kind of self religion in where they believe in Jesus, but think that he doesn't like them.
One thing every real one has in common is that they get depressed, while some about the world's corruption and how its dying or family issues.

Gothic Emos are otherwise know as. Black Emos, Loners, Unloved, dramatisers, exageratists or New Emos.
Most names are unfair though.
