Okay, first off, anime is by far not "little kid animation" as some of the afformentioned definitions of Wapenese describe. Anime is in fact of higher quality than American animation, and contains notably 1) a plot; 2)a soundtrack that can be enjoyed; 3)character shading. Just because it is animated doesn't make it crap, f00.
While Wapanese kiddos are generally social outcast who are fat, pimply, and greesy (oh, and think hentai is sexually stimulating), there are people interested in Japan or anime who are in fact, not Wapanese. Wapanese is what Wapanese people call "otaku," which is an incorrect definition of the word (otaku means house).

1. Believes that he or she will marry a very hot Japanese man or woman.
2. Cosplays, ie. dresses as an anime character.
3. Pays money to go to an Anime Convention.
4 Uses Japanese words or phrases in internet speak or everyday life, even though he or she can't understand, read, or whatever Japanese.
5. Believe that they aren't white, but in fact, are. (Um...okay)

Is basically a very nasty word for defining western people who like japanese stuff such as anime, decora/lolita fashion and J-Pop.
And they are scrutinized for liking hello kitty and pokemon although most young girls have grown up with the merchandise from both brands.

What Wapanese kids believe to be the actual culture of Japan.
Days in Japan are spent watching Anime while eating Pocky. The only music popular in Japan is the kind that comes Anime, and occasionaly some J-rock. The only books found in the stores and libaries are Manga.
On the street everyone greets each other with an obnoxious "Konnichiwa" or "Ohayo" while holding a peace sign next to their eyes.
Everyone's wardrobe consists of a Japanese School Uniform mixed in with either bright "Kawaii" colorful clothes, or nothing but black gothic clothing that is still "Kawaii". Also everyone spends their weekends in a cosplay outfit from their favorite Manga or Anime.
Japanese people wake up everyday hoping that this is the day Westerners come to their country. They can't wait to welcome them with open arms so they can talk about Anime, and have conversations that contain the 5 Japanese words that Wapanese kids know.
Otakon is this culture main holiday. When Wapanese kids flock to the Baltimore Convention Center to see what they believe is Japan.

1. People who "hate" on "wapanese". 2) People who are overly judgmental of those who take a strong interest in Japan, and it's culture. Wapanese haters will chose to dislike, or prejudge someone simply because they take an interest in the foreign culture of Japan. They will call you a geek, or a nerd for attempting to learn the Japanese language, or for listening to Japanese music. 3.) Wapanese haters will insist that fans of Japanese culture know EVERYTHING about Japan before they can rightfully take interest, and will assume you're a want a be if you don't completely know the language, or if you haven't visited the country. Wapanese haters rely on a senseless logic that we must know everything there is to know about a culture to justify taking interest. Or, that taking an interest in a culture outside of your own must mean you're an outcast.
Wapanese haters believe all people who enjoy anime, or cosplay live at home with their parents and are unemployed. And while they criticize those they've labeled "Wapanese" for never having step foot in Japan, most of them have never been out of their home country, and have never taken an interest in any culture outside of that of their own.
