Minecraft is a sandbox game that is available for Windows, and any other cross-play device that comes to your head. As its logo simply just being a dirt or grass block it's easy to remember.
Minecraft's release date was WAYYY back in 18th November 2011 and has been a game that hundreds and thousands of kids grew up with. Minecraft is known for its very blocky style, and it's beautiful in-game nature, although being unrealistic and unshaded.
In Minecraft Java Edition which is what is going to be defined, not any other edition. there are 2 ways to play. Survival, and Multiplayer. in Survival your goal is to survive, and grab resources to help you on your journey while still having fun along the way while trying to attack and defeat monsters while trying to make sure you dont starve (starving happens on hard mode) and keep your health. (My god how many times did I type in the word "while"..)
In Multiplayer the name describes it all. You can play with real players in minigames, building, and more. The most popular server in Minecraft, at least currently, is Hypixel. Hypixel has a variety of minigames to play and I highly recommend it if you have the Java version of the game. I will not talk about it more as I want you, the reader, to look into it yourself.
