Scene Kid

A scene kid is basically a person who wants to be different. But now, its been stereotyped and rules have been made, which makes the whole "individual" thing almost impossible to achieve tbh :/
People who actually say they are "Scene" are just wanna-be's.

Scene Hair
~Short layers on the top with longg (usually extensions) uberr straight layers on the bottom.
~Can be dyed different colours (personally, i prefer red as its more individual && like a zillion people are dying their hair bleach blonde atm so if your aiming to be different, go for black/red/pink or a raainboww :D
~Usually adorned with hair clips and bows && headbands
~''Coon tails'' are also big in scene hair, but don't do this straight away, as people will call you a poser and a wanna-be.

Be careful not to damage your hair with heated products like straightners or curlers, always use a heat-defensive spray before heating hair (:

Scene Make-up
~Don't get Tango-oed xD
Pale foundation is the best
~Fake Eyelashes are a good thing to have, but dont go too extravagant at first, because again, people will call you a poser (OMG People these days are so judging ¬¬)
~Dark or Neon eyeshadows

~Eyeliner is the must-have (:

lmfao. ok well all you people that have this HUGE hate againsty scene kids are prety sad. i mean you may look at them and be all omg hes wearing girl jeans he's a fag well you guys are wrong. nor all scene guys are gay. I am scene, and i have a lot of scene friends, and if you get to know them better instead of being judgement you'll get to see that they are really nice people.

-MUST have a myspace (Stickam is also acceptable,)
-has some strange color in hair
-hair must be choppy or messy or something!
-usually have long and colored extensions (coon stripes-)
-facial piercings (i.e. septum, monroe, snakebites, nostril, lip, eyebrow ect.)
-act like an immature little kid
-either do gore, or lush (cute.)
-wear super tight pants
-really any shirt is acceptable
-bows in hair
-dark rimmed eyes (shitload of eyeliner)

-always try to be original

Okay, so being a Scene kid myself I feel like I can give an awesome definition.
First off We are not Emo. I cannot stress that enough.
The Scene Girl:
- Layered Hair.
- Most likely 2+ colors.
- Flats or slip-ons.
- Tight, straight-leg pants.
- Band or decorative tight shirts.
- Hair straighter than straight.
- Lip piercings.
- Some have gauged ears, but not crazy huge.
- Only wears eye makeup.
- Does like Dinosaurs and Robots.
- Loves Hello Kitty. <3. Lol.
- Loves Scene guys and their tight pants.
- Loves bead necklaces and chunky jewelry.
The Scene Boy:
- Hair short in the back, long in the front.
- Straight-legs, May be girls.
- Band shirts.
- Band hoodies.
- Lip piercings.
- Gauged ears.
- Slip-ons.
- Unless skater, then you wear skate shoes.
Both Scene Girls and Scene Boys love Shows and live for them.
They do NOT appreciate being called emo. We are most definately not, and will bite your heads off. :)

Contrary to popular belief, the scene refers to the music scene. One can not be scene. How ever, one may be a PART of the scene. Kids who are part of the scene attend shows and support bands that are not commonly listened to, as in hardcore or even electronica. It is often refered to as a way of dressing or hair type. The ONLY reason people think it is a way of dressing is because kids who listen to hardcore music instead of lil' jon, rihanna, or whatever else is cliche, started dressing differently. It is just like the confusement of "emo". Emo is an abbreviation for emotive hardcore. It was an uncommon genre of music and it reached it's peak in about the late eighties, early nineties. It almost completely died out by the end of the nineties. Bands like Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Hawthorne Heights, etc. are far from emotive hardcore and are actually Pop Punk. Most people are tards and are too stubborn to believe the truth. Therefore, ignorance becomes widespread.
