Ice Barrier is a mage spell that shields the caster, absorbing all damage, similar to a priest's Power Word: Shield spell. The shield absorbs physical and magical damage, including damage from active DoTs. While shielded, spells will not loose casting time due to push-back interruption, however counterspell and silence effects will still pass through.
