A description of a person having too many virtual identities, passwords, and/or domain names that they are not using but cannot or will not delete. Almost identical to emotional baggage replacing people with online alternative identities.

Virtual baggage includes that old Hotmail account you can't remove because it's your only connection with your middle-aged school friends, or the Hi5 account you won't delete because of that has that one mystery chick, or the whole bunch of domain names you acquired last night just because you think they'll "come in handy at some point."
