AC

Abbreviation for 'Armor Class'. In the latest edition of DnD, AC is a number which signifies the difficulty of hitting a target in combat; the higher the number, the harder it is.
It was impossible to hit that guy. His AC was /way/ too high.

ACE

ACE (gaming) = All Competitors Eliminated. A gamer scores an ACE when they wipe out an entire enemy team. The number of competitors is irrelevant. However, considering that most games sport a 5 versus 5 format, the term has become synonymous (but not limited to) a 5k.
