Get the gendermug. basically a view where certain roles are expected on girls and boys. for example, young girls are expected to like barbies and ponies, while young boys are expected to like cars and dinosaurs. for clothing, women and girls are expected to wear skirts and dresses, while boys and men are expected to wear pants and trousers. gender stereotypes may affect a childs views.

ROGD was theorized due to the sudden rise in transgender individuals within the last decade.
Many people denounce ROGD as insignificant or false and instead attribute the rise to a higher understanding of transgenders.
However, many others support it because of the increasing preferences towards transgenders, and the ire of starting a new life.
