Word Crimes

1. Crimes against literacy. Typically committed on the internet, however they are often found when speaking.
2. A song released by "Weird Al" Yankovic in his album "Mandatory Fun". It is a parody of "Blurred Lines" by Robin Thicke.

Word lube

When trying to deliver some bad news - or something that may not go down too well, it may be neccessary to use some word lube to ease the delivery...

It's ok, my mrs has let me have a lads night tonight, i had to use some serious word lube though!

Word Vacuum

When you instantly regret saying something as soon as the words leave your mouth. Usually something that sounds unintentionally dirty, or just something you wish you hadn't said aloud. The tone in your voice changes halfway through the sentence as soon as you realize what you're saying. You wish you could just suck the words back into your mouth - like a vacuum.

Leafs announcer (after a hit) - "And that was two big bodies banging!"
You at home - "Woah, that was a word vacuum."
