A phrase you use when you realize someone who has a boyfriend/girlfriend is talking to/flirting with several other men/women at the same time. Not being committed to your man/woman.
She is already with somebody but she is talking to a million other guys at the time....What a player!!

First popularized to mainstream audiences by "The Matrix" in 1999 by a businessman, played by actor Jeremy Ball, this phrase is a counter-culture version of 'what the fuck' used previously. Abbreviated as 'WTS', the phrase had seen limited use in late 1998, prior to the the box-office release of "The Matrix", in online BBS and chat forums.
"What the shit, that's my phone!" - Businessman, "The Matrix"
"What the shit -- My phone!" - Businessman, "The Matrix" (1997 Screenplay)

Literally: "what happened?" Comes from some Japanese video game in a poor English translation. See also: all your base are belong to us, someone set up us the bomb, make your time, et al.

A phrase meaning that someone clearly wasn't listening to a single word you said. Suggests apathy, bad hearing, or simply not giving a shit.
"Dude, do you want to build a snowman?"
"Sorry, what?"
"You got any idea when that chem homework's due?"
"Sorry, what?"
"Nice to meet you."
"Sorry, what?"
