Basically someone who’s quite big but also ripped , with a determined and strong look, who always says what he really thinks without censoring himself or worrying about what others might say about him.

Shit that people swam in unharmed and unbothered, without getting sick. Shit that it is still possible to step in unharmed and unbothered without getting sick if it ends up in the shower. Nobody wants shit in their shower, especially not other people's shit, but it won't kill you any more than yours will kill them.

The online article says that most large cities with decaying sewer systems are mostly black or latino to emphasize their narrative about white flight when actually the demographics are about as close to equal as they've ever been in New York or Chicago, about a third of each city is white, a third black, and a third latino, give or take (the rest being Asian or pacific islander, and a few indians that are left), so unless someone is desperate to try and counter that people from all groups are equally represented and throw the balance off by throwing blacks and latinos together (to pit them against whites and manipulate/play all sides with the misinformation) then either life is unfair/unjust/dangerous for everybody and raw sewage can end up in your home no matter what you look like, or every side is getting exactly what they deserve and you wonder why anyone has a complaint about it. Perhaps there is no right answer, perhaps people are meant to try and question things rather than answer them.

Something the grief/tragedy/sympathy industry wants people to fear, like the coronavirus, the crime rate, and the boogeyman.

The grief/tragedy/sympathy industry tells people that if they don't fix the aging infrastructure now, put on a mask/get a vaccine, install a security camera, or ward off evil spirits they will have a tub filled with raw sewage, a respiratory system filled with the coronavirus, a visit from a violent criminal, or a visit from the boogeyman. Nobody lives forever, so why would anybody take the news without a grain of salt, even if some of those things really can and do happen?
