A meeting where friends get together and end up talking about everything except the Bible. Parents are relieved bc they are hanging at church, with no idea what they are really talking about.

Sure, let me just tell my folks."

Joe Talk

To strike up a useless and aggravatingly long conversation. Originates from the talk initiated by a Trader Joe's cashier with a customer.

Martha, the Trader Joe's cashier, decided to Joe Talk me while I was trying to pay for my mint chip ice cream. She spent the next seven minutes trying to figure out if we could figure out how long it would take to hand churn ice cream together. The customers behind me were now all petrified by the ideas of how Martha would Joe Talk them.
