nonconformist

The most retarded, unpleasant conformists alive. In a pathetic attempt to boost their own self-esteem by being "different", nonconformists put down everything that is accepted and liked by mainsteam society. The problem is, this doesn't actually mean they aren't conforming. They're simply conforming to the standards of their counterculture.
I have no problem with people wearing black and listening to bands I've never heard of (common features among "nonconformists". I respect their choice not to "conform". Yet inevitably, they have no respect for my choice to wear pink polo shirts and Coach bags while listening to popular music. They say I'm a conformist-ironically, their friends look a lot more alike than mine do.

Nonconformist

A term often used poorly by people.
Conformity and nonconformity is a spectrum that one exists on. Each have their ups and downs and neither absolute is possible for normal people.

A conformist tends to go along with society's rules more often than most, and tends to do so uncritically. Everyone who is not a psychopath conforms a little. And part of having good manners, morals, and behaviors is conforming to rules set down by people who are long dead and built the society you live in (and probably knew better than you).
A non-conformist is more elusive, but it simply is someone who is an individualist and values their own agency. As with conformist, it's not an absolute for normal people. And many non-conformists are wrong because going against the grain has an inherent risk, especially since most people don't know better. Otherwise everyone would do it
There are some paradoxical overlaps. For example, a non-conformist playing nice to appease people is conforming in a sense but is a practical cost of doing business in the real world.

Ultimately it comes down to how often you exercise control over your own life when you can practically do so. And anyone who uses music, or clothes as an example of their nonconformity is kind of a retard.
"Sarah attended that party because her client needed her to. Such a conformist, doing what people want. Not like me. I am a nonconformist!" Whether this is true or not depends on the station of the person saying this versus the station of Sarah. Whoever has more control over their life is the winner so to speak.

When Sarah realized she wasn't going to Hell for establishing some of her own beliefs within the LDS church, she became a Nonconmormist.

noncomformist

Someone who conforms to noncomformism. Due to contradiction, nonconformists do not technically exist in the same way human kindness does not exist.
I'm going to go buy a jean jacket at the used clothing store and cut off the sleeves and sow patches on it like my friend did. >>> What a noncomformist does.

nonconformist

A total douchebag, someone who thinks they're cool by creating a negative sterotype of themself. Basically a person with no friends.
Nonconformist: You laugh at me because I'm different. I laugh at you because You're all the same.
Jock: No, I laugh at you because you're a pussy.

noncomformist

a very confusing word for many, simply a group which has absolutely no label. They are NOT punk, because that's a different category - an actual label. Often times referred to as the kids who are "just me", they get along fine with anyone they don't dislike, which is generally anyone. Not necessarily a boring person(it depends on the noncomformist), we can be generally fun people. We don't drink, do drugs, or smoke, but a non - ignorant person could see that we like to have a good time nonetheless. We never give up our morals to accomplish a goal (though i may hide them from others for a little bit), and are in no way really similar in social matter.
I am a social and relatively well - liked guy, whereas some people i know who are noncomformist are looked upon as wierd. We disdain the label "punk" due to our gentle outlook on society in general, and generally do not like anything of the punk/emo/goth category (though i can't say this is entirely true since i have yet to meet every noncomformist).
