When a friend or anyone says/thinks anything is terrible or bad, but it’s lowkey nice to a select amount of people who have an acquired taste for specific things. (i.e. clothes, music, art, food, news, etc.)

Normally these things are considered to be “different” or unconventional to a specific type of person. Or maybe it’s actually shit and you have just really fucking terrible interests🤣

But the moral of the story is we all can like whatever we want! If we all enjoyed the same exact things; society and people would be lame as hell rs lol

If we say a painting is "high-key" we mean that most or all of the image is light or pale in value. For example, colours mixed with white, called "pastels" or "tints", are high-key. It's the opposite of "low-key", of course.
