Derived from the word 'pala-tao' (kepala tahu) meaning knows everything in Malay.

A branch of philosophy in which a person thinks he/she knows everything. But in fact that person knows little to non. Yet they still stand up to their point eventhough it has been proven false.

Don't trust what Steinberg says, he a palataoism practitioner.

po·ta·to - noun

a starchy plant tuber that is one of the most important food crops, cooked and eaten as a vegetable.
"roasted potatoes"
see sweet potato.

the plant of the nightshade family that produces the potato tubers on underground runners.

Tao - noun

(in Chinese philosophy) the absolute principle underlying the universe, combining within itself the principles of yin and yang and signifying the way, or code of behavior, that is in harmony with the natural order. The interpretation of Tao in the Tao-te-Ching developed into the philosophical religion of Taoism.

Potato + Taoism = Potataoism

Palatism 

When a person or a place does not offer menu items to suit every palate. I.e Vegans, Vegetarians, Pescatarian

This resturant doesnt have any vegan options. Thats palatism!
