During winter nights, adult demographics are more likely to stay within the confines of the abode due to the harsh conditions outside.

Throughout winter, one of the four cyclical seasons, the human species tends to show bear-like signs. The main tell-tale activity adoption being hibernation.

Lady: I don't know what to do this weekend.
Man: Perhaps we should go and stay at a hotel, and hibernight. It'll be joyous.

Hiberniating (Hy-burn-e-ate-ing)

(verb) the act of going to the Hibernia Irish Pub in New Bedford, MA on Sundays in order to hear the live Irish music from 4ish-7ish pm.

Person 1: "Hey, are we hiberniating tomorrow?"
Person 2: "Yes. Of course we're Hiberniating tomorrow! It's SUNDAY!"

Overly descriptive term for the location of a male who spends lots of time on dating sites and decides he knows someone well enough to spend the night, either sight-unseen or after just one date.

Q: "Is Dad home?"

A: "No, he's on a hovernight." (He brought his hovernight bag.)
