A tradition or process within a community that is rather spontaneously created and later refined and adapted by many within the community to become the de-facto standard for something.

Guitar tablature, or tab for short, is a type of notation that became widely popular on the internet in a folksomic fashion.

folklorico 

A Mexican cultural dance. Used with large skirts in most states of Mexico. Some notable folklorico dances are: La bruja, Son de la negra, La bamba, Tilingo Lingo, and Jarabe Tapatío.
