lifegame 

An event where a player in a multiplayer PvP game unexpectedly achieves a spectacular performance, often to the dismay of that player's opposing team. That player is playing a lifegame; i.e. he is playing "the best game of his life."

When you point out that someone is playing their lifegame you effectively mean to say that they are not very good at the game, they just happen to be playing the best round of their lives at this moment.

A. Dude wth we were stomping these guys, what happened?
B. Idk I guess these scrubs suddenly decided to play their lifegame
