A humanitarian undertaking to help someone embarrassingly out of touch with current culture get hip. Or the act of gaining knowledge in the quest to make yourself hip to current culture.
In order to gain greater insight into current culture, you should hipitize yourself through watching the Twilight movies and U-Tube, listening to pop top 20 hits on satellite radio, investing in the top selling video games, subscribing to a paparazzi-whore magazine or watching E-news, and learning how to Tweet and link it to your fb.
