He denied that intention but the episode epitomised the misery of Hibs. They have lost all four derbies this season, with an aggregate score of 12-2.

The violation of one's core individual or group values by oneself. It can also be forceful in nature. Powerful individuals or groups may humiliate by violating core values or they can also make you violate core values.
During holocaust, SS officers would force one Jew to cut beard of another Jew. The Jew who is forced to cut beard of another Jew is violating a core group value (since beard has a religious significance) and therefore undergoing self humiliation.
