A slur given to a father or mother by a narcissistic abuser and their flying monkeys to deflect from the fact that they are using the family court system (a $50B US industry) to bleed the targeted parent dry (attorney fees, child support) and justify not allowing the targeted parent or their family to see the child(ren) that the targeted parent is currently paying child support for.
Chris is a prick, because he won't allow his daughter to see her mother; however, he calls her a deadbeat to anyone who will listen, because how else can he explain how he got remarried, but his child is not allowed to have any contact with her own mother?

They either work below their means or lose their money to sycophants, con men or a bad habit or activity that drains all their money, like gambling, credit cards, women, alcohol, bad investments and writing or acting careers.
