People’s Main Event

Invented by Ariel Helwani. A phrase used to denote a fight on an MMA fight card that garners much attention from the MMA fan base. A fight that fans are looking forward to watching just as much, if not more, than the card’s actual main event.
Ariel Helwani: The fight that fans are looking forward to most is Todd Duffee vs Gian Villante, it is without a doubt the people’s main event. Okay guys I’ll see you next week, same time, same place, till then I say, “Peace, I’m outta here!”

Makin' That Shelter

An up-and-coming catch phrase used to describe people who are receiving some form of a money income. The phrase derives from the concept of "Makin' That Bread" in that money made was often spent putting food on the table. Yet it is often ignored that above the table is a roof, which is the centerpiece in creating a shelter. So when one says to the other "You gonna make that shelter?" It basically means that he is going to make money and spend it by putting a roof on the house.
Mike: When do you start working?
Alyssa: Monday.
Mike: Gonna be Makin' That Shelter?
Alyssa: You know it!
