A person of low intelligence and poor decision making skills. Encapsulates a general sense of stupidity, laziness, slowness, and ineptitude. Can also be characterized by a certain degree of cringe.
History of Tud: Created during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic quarantine in CT, USA, after someone panicked during Scrabble and asked “is ‘tud’ a word?”- this term can be used as a guilt and cruelty free replacement for the “R-word” since it refers to ANYONE who exhibits stupidity regardless of ability, gender, sexual orientation, race or creed.
Can also be used in its adjectival form, i.e. Tud move, Tud moment, etc.
