The act of wishing you were at a bar imbibing in libations when in actuality you're forced to do something mundane and extremely adult like go to work, show up for court, do laundry, etc.

I'm sitting at work finding it hard to concentrate because I'm bar hoping.

As a result they go to Urbandictionary.com and repeatedly use the random option, hoping they will happen upon the word in question. Could also work with Stumbleupon.com in other circumstances.
