Acronym for: On Your Own.
1)It is a term used by people to isolate themselves from the problems of others by making it known they can't offer any help.
2)A state of being on one's own. This definition came into usage because of a Nigerian State called OYO.

1) Dude, did you just break the teacher's spectacles? You're OYO.
2)If you can't get the assignment submitted before noon, you are in OYO.
3) Now that my father has vowed never to send me money again, it seems I am in OYO.
