In Australia, one of the definitions of the term 'wog' is what other australians call europeans and now lebonese.
It used to be a racist word a while ago, created for the italians, greeks and maltese when they all came rushing in during the late 60's and most of the 70's.

Now, it's used as a replacement for the word european (the english and french are not considered wog though), it's socialy acceptable these days; can depend how you say it (examples below).

example one; racist.

person: oh my gosh shes such a greasy wog! she needs to go back to her own country. wogs these days.

example two; non racist

person1: hey, are you wog?

wog: ahah yeah *continues scoffing pasta down*

person2: ahah your so wog, love it.

Usually of Greek or Italian background. The best people in the world. They are the best at soccer and have the best food of all times. Wog fathers are over protective of their off-spring and go crazy when a child steps out of line. Mothers gossip about their cousins but love them heaps, very loud and love dancing. Grandparents are the bank of the entire family, grandmas cook the most amazing food and grandpas have the greatest gardens. Grandads are usually big drinkers of scotch and wine.

WOG, "Working On Government" wages, derived from the British acronym stenciled on shirts of laborers assigned to government projects. These laborers were often migrants, and as such the term has now become synonymous with the newly emigrated. Unfortunately, these migrants are frequently under attack for "stealing Aussie jobs", which is highly ironic given that the only "true" Aussies are the indigenous population, Aboriginals.

"That WOG, who's being paid $5 an hour to wash dishes for 12 hours straight and be treated like shit, is stealing Aussie jobs!"

The thing I cannot comprehend is why 'Wogs' (Southern European Christians) aline with Arab Muslims for the sack of a derogatory word...in England the term 'wog' is directed at Blacks.

These Europeans are race traitors who seem to have forgotten our past, or are unaware of it! Europeans have had many hostilities towards Arabs, and Islam throughout the Centuries.

Tho our people resisted and combined forces thus the Crusades emerged, fighting Islam back out of Europe.

Europeans are very culturally different too any other ethnicities, vice versa..just because you live in the same suburbs or are called a same derogatory term, does not make you any closer relations to these people, your ancestors would be turning in their graves.
