selfie

one who takes a picture of them self to post on a social media site to get likes or comments, usually to help their already low self esteem. their arm is usually purposely placed in the picture, called the selfie arm showing that they have no friends to take the picture.

Samantha: Selfie Sunday! *ugly picture on Instagram*
Joey: stop posting selfies, you have no friends.
