ASHcist 

One of those anti-smoking crazies that have made it impossibly expensive for small cafes in Scotland to have street furniture any more and have spent thousands lodging objections to small beer gardens to bail out smaller pubs. The type that make smokers not want to give up and non-smokers to be tempted to join them.

Those bloody ASHcists will be wreaking the same bloody havoc in England now.

Derived from the Latin fasces and later applications; the spelling is thus critical to distinguish from the rather more ordinary less offensive ASHists who, it is rumoured may exist.
