in-play

When at a party, someone opens either a cupboard, package or bag and pulls out a bottle of alcohol and puts it down. Once it has hit the counter or table, it is now "in-play"...free to drink.
Kris' party was awesome, everybody was hammered, mostly because Jeff opened the cupboard and pulled out the Tequila and put it "in-play".
