cruddle

A long, constricting hug (cuddle), which by the recipient could be seen as an act of affection or a sign of aggression to assert dominance.

Similar in nature to an aggressive handshake.

Tammy did not know where she stood with her girlfriend Claire, as she believes she was cruddled and blacked out from her cell.
