BBB

In reference to books, BBB is a book buying ban. Often put in place by someone or their significant other when they spend too much money on books and own a significant number of books from their TBR (to be read) list.

Jane: my girlfriend put me on a BBB. She said it was because I need to read the 57 books I already own that are on my TBR.
