Lily Evans/Potter (30 January, 1960 – 31 October, 1981) - Harry Potter's mother, married to James Potter and sister to Petunia Dursley.

Lily grew up in a town called Cokeworth, not far from Spinner's End where Severus Snape lived. When she was 9 Severus told her she was a witch. Even though she was sorted into Gryffindor and Severus into Slytherin they remained great friends until he called her a m*dblood.

Even though she married James Potter J.K. Rowling revealed that if Severus hadn't been so involved with the dark arts Lily could have ended up with him.
