money laundering

(n.) The process of hiding the source of illegal income by processing it through a large-turnover entity, who takes a premium from it, and then receiving the income from that entity to avoid suspicion.

This definition has evolved to include any form of hiding income (or sources of income) in the interests of avoiding tax, although the problem posed by non-specific 'cover-all' statements means that it is open to loopholes because of the vast grey areas.

Money laundering has been practised for over 6000 years, but the term itself comes from the prohibition era of american history.
If a public limited company were to pay its director fees or dividends through purchasing toy cars worth £1 each for @ £50,000 each from a foreign company (and listing them as real cars) owned by the receiving directors/shareholders so they get their money with minor taxation, that would be covered by the extended definition of money laundering.

window dressing

(n.) window dressing is the act of disguising a loan by taking money in exchange for the use of a business' asset(s). It shows on the financial statements that the company has both the money AND the asset, making the profits much larger when in reality it has restricted or no use of the asset. The extended definition of money laundering puts window dressing into a legal grey area, whereby it is not perfectly legal, but not illegal enough to build a real case against.
Everyone, from large companies trying to improve their profits, to hustlers on the street wanting extra cash in thier pockets is in to window dressing.
(n.) Someone who enjoys raping the english language with poor spelling.

e-bay bumping

Manipulating the price of an e-bay auction by simply placing a bid with no intention to buy, but rather to increase price more rapidly for the seller. Should the bumper be the winner of the auction, they will be transafered the money by the seller after payment, and give him back his goods.

Sometimes this occurs when the bumper simply wants to annoy others by pushing the price to ridiculous amounts near the end of the auction so desperate bidders place higher bids. These people also enjoy pestering the seller with questions about thier sexuality and underwear hygeine.
Spotting e-bay bumping is quite hard, since many n00bs unintentionally push the price up by placing consequtive increasing amounts for the same item within minutes.

If you notice that an item has a bidder who has placed multiple bids for an item, check thier feedback. If you notice this person has bought several items over a long period of time from the current seller, you have probably uncovered a scam, and should report it.
