That exasperating moment that occurs when you're waiting at a bar, just about to be served, but another patron swoops in front of you at the last minute and orders first.

Bob: Yeah I'll have-
Patron: Double vodka and coke.
Barman: Coming right up.
John: Dude, you totally got Alcoblocked.

Apandical

A difficult or confusing situation. When you must make a choice between two courses of action.

"Oh man, I totally promised my Jewish friend I'd go to his bar mitzvah but I'd much rather go to this awesome party... it's a bit of an apandical."

"I'm at a star trek convention and I can see either Patrick Stewart or Leonard Nimoy, fml, this is an apandical situation."
