The container used in every house to hold small trinkets, old keys, coins, and other miscellaneous items. The arfjar is usually small enough to be found in a kitchen drawer among other random objects, or on a sideboard in a utility room.
If you can't find enough coins for the kids to take to school, take a look in the arfjar - I think there's a couple of 50 pence pieces in there.
