A person with a journeyman's card in a trade such as an electrician, plumber, or HVAC installer who is on a job because the person running the job does not have their card. This could be due to lack of skill on the card holder's part, but not necessarily.

Clint, who had his journeyman's, was only on Ralf's job because Ralf couldn't pass the test; therefore, Clint was Ralf's journeybitch!
