Somebody who is uninterested in doing something very exciting or spontaneous. somebody only interested in ordinary sexual acts or normal sexual acts. usually used in a sexual manner, but it can be used in everyday life.

Tony: Dude, Karla is so vanilla.
Carlos: Did she not want to do any BDSM?
