alamak

some may hear that it came from japanese language, but others say it is initially a word from arabic language "Allah maak" which means "God be with you".
"Allah maak" is used to be said when someone is inflicted with trials.
then as time goes by, it became a norm to be said whenever something unfavorable happens.
"eh alamak! i forgot to bring my phone!"

"alamak you ah, so careless"

"alamak i accidentally hit the curb!"
