Cockatoo

Somebody that elongates their stories more than needed. For instance someone that would say “I checked the fridge when I went to the kitchen and noticed we were out of milk, so I went to the nearest Walmart to get some more.” instead of “I went to the store to get milk.” is a cockatoo.

“Oh yeah, don’t talk to Roger, he is such a cockatoo and talks too much.”
