Adrolling is the practice of cloaking a commercial as an interesting viral video to trick everyone into watching an ad.
The term was derived from the rickrolling
phenomenon and was coined by Molly Wood on Buzz Out Loud.
1) "DUDE... DON'T WATCH THAT VIDEO, YOU'LL GET ADROLLED!"
2) Old Spice engaged in adrolling to get everyone to watch their ads.
