The term finds its roots in the community of "Diablo Immortal," originating from the frequent disconnections experienced by a player known as SamDing0, who utilized an older-generation iPad for gameplay. SamDing0's recurrent disconnects, occurring with astonishing frequency, even up to five times within a single dungeon run, led to the emergence of the term "Dingo'd."
