TDY is an extremely popular acronym in the military. It stands for temporary duty. Frequently when military men leave for a trip, they get the urg to sleep with other woman. A person who goes on trips without there spouse and frequently cheats on them is said to have "TDY eyes".

that new guy has some serious TDY eyes, he hooked up with a different girl each night of our trip.
