A marriage contract for Jews sighned before the wedding for the bride, it is to prevent divorce it is a contract saying what the groom gives the bride when they divorce. Needs two witnesses.

Bride: I am getting married!!
Friend: I know, i was a witness for your Ketubah sighning.
